Today, Republican lawmakers in Raleigh are trying to override Governor Josh Stein’s vetoes of two dangerous bills:
❌ SB 50 – Lowers the age for concealed carry to just 18 and eliminates the training requirement. That puts more guns in inexperienced hands with no accountability.
❌ SB 153 – Forces North Carolina law enforcement officers to act as federal immigration agents—even in schools, hospitals, and community spaces.
Governor Stein vetoed these bills on Friday to protect our communities. Now the GOP wants to ram them through anyway.
