    Teacher Tribute

Everyone knows that North Carolina’s teachers are underpaid and far too often underappreciated. But we also know that teachers are essential – to our communities, our kids and our future. We want to give people around the state the opportunity to say thank you to the public school educators who make our state great – and what better time to do it than teacher appreciation week?

If there is a particular teacher or teacher’s aide who has made an impact on your life or on the life of your child, let them know how grateful you are for the work they do. Simply fill out the attached entry form to enter the special teacher in your life for our upcoming raffle. We will be giving away $200 gift cards to 3 lucky teachers around the state. You have until the end of the day Friday, May 10th to nominate your teacher. The drawing will happen the morning of Monday, May 13th and we’ll reach out to the winners to share the good news.

There’s space for a short paragraph where you can share why you appreciate your nominee and what impact they’ve had. This paragraph will be sent to every nominee as a beautifully designed digital card along with notification that they’ve been entered in the raffle. So, who are you going to nominate?

Nominees must be current Pre-K through 12th grade public school teachers in North Carolina. One form per entry. Nominations must include an email address where Megaphone NC can send a digital thank-you card to the nominee. Entries are accepted until 11:59 pm on Friday, May 10, 2024. Winners will be chosen via raffle on Monday, May 13, 2024, and notified via email. No purchase is necessary to enter. Void where prohibited.
