A seat in the US House of Representatives is on the line. \nLast month it was reported that President Trump was pressuring Senate Leader Phil Berger to draw new maps favorable to congressional Republicans in exchange for a political favor. Now Senator Berger said “we will hold votes in our October session to redraw North Carolina’s congressional map.” \nWe are gathering to send the GOP a message: North Carolinians are watching and we’re not backing down.
