Members of Johnston County are invited to join the DHNC Spring Candidate Academy event Fireside Chat with Elected Officials. Mix, Mingle and ask questions of Down Home Aligned elected officials who have been serving in their communities as Mayors, Town and City Councils as well as Board of Alderpeople. What are their roles? How do they campaign? What changes have they been able to implement in their communities since being elected? What setbacks do they have in their current positions? This is a great political education for all those who have been curious about the role of elected leaders and for those considering a run for office. Light refreshments will be provided.
