The Troublemakers School is about connecting across campaigns to share experiences, strategies, and further develop our organizing skills. Panelists and trainers will include leaders in labor, immigrant rights, racial justice, and community struggles from across the south. Now more than ever, the country is looking to the south to learn strategies for building power and solidarity in the face of racist and anti-worker legislation. This Troublemakers school will seek to further answer the question, how do we follow in the revolutionary legacy of southern organizers like Fanny Lou Hamer and Ella Baker to build real worker and community power in the south?
$15-$35, scholarships available, childcare and interpretation available upon request.
