Join North Carolina workers on Monday, June 9th at 2pm ET for a protest and rally at Moore Square (201 S Blount St, Raleigh NC) to as part of a national movement in solidarity with SEIU to demand that David Huerta be freed immediately and ICE raids must end immediately.
On Friday June 6th, military-gear-clad ICE agents launched aggressive raids throughout Los Angeles. At one location, SEIU-USWW President David Huerta was assaulted, injured and detained while advocating for immigrant workers. While he has been released from the hospital, he remains in federal custody.
This is a clear attack on our communities, workers, and our First Amendment rights.
