Black Women’s Labor Community Dinner

As we recognize Labor Day and the contributions of workers across our nation, we invite you to join us for dinner and an evening of meaningful conversation, connection, and community centered on Black Women’s Labor: A Labor Day Conversation on Maternal Health, Caregiving and Economic Justice.
Hosted by State Senator Natalie Murdock, Oxfam America, Forward Justice, and the North Carolina Black Alliance, this gathering will center Black women and the labor they contribute in every part of our economy and our communities, from paid work and professional careers to caregiving, motherhood, and the often unseen labor that holds families together.
