The event is part of the mass mobilization and has two parts. First, the rally begins at 10:00am at Halifax Mall in Raleigh. It is sponsored by Planned Parenthood Votes! South Atlantic, Common Cause NC, Deiter Mediation, 50501 NC, Raleigh Boots on the Ground, and Poor People’s Campaign.
Second, at around 10:30am, the rally will transition into a march as protectors form a Human Chain. Our coalition partners, Engaged Durhamites for Democracy, 50501 NC, Democracy Out Loud!, Wake Women Have Mercy, and Indivisible Orange County, will lead a powerful Human Chain that starts at Halifax Mall and stretches out on sidewalks. We have mapped out a 2-mile path that circles the Federal Court building to show our solidarity with our federal judges as they defend our constitution and fight back against tyranny.
Forming this Human Chain is a bold act of solidarity. We are upping our game from simply marching to showing unity with a bond that cannot be broken by the lawlessness of this regime.
