On Tuesday, Speaker Destin Hall and the NC GOP will try to overturn Gov. Josh Stein’s vetoes of 11 bills, including SB 153 and HB 318, which would dramatically increase ICE’s ability to detain and deport North Carolinians.
If all 49 House Democrats show up and vote to sustain the vetoes, we will defeat Destin Hall’s attempt to use our state tax dollars to abduct immigrants.
