For over 60 years, the United States has imposed an illegal blockade on basic goods to Cuba. Even though Cuba has free, high-quality healthcare, the blockade has prevented life-saving medication from reaching the Cuban people.
The entire world, except for the United States and Israel, votes every year at the United Nations to condemn the blockade. The world stands with Cuba, and so must we!
Since the triumph of the 1959 revolution, Cuba has embarked on building a socialist project, fighting for self-determination and standing with oppressed nations worldwide. Because Cuba stands as an inspiration to the people of the global South, the U.S. has done everything in its power to destroy the socialist project in Cuba, but it has failed at every attempt!
